General responsibilities of the position: As part of his or her duties of gauge, template and cutting tools inspection, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Select, calibrate, adjust and use of precision measuring instruments, both in a lab environment and on the production floor;
• Determine the most practical methods of verification from drawings, computer software and various inspection documents and specifications;
• Make great complexity settings to ensure compliance with manufacturing quality standards;
• Perform calibration of various devices and standards, such as CMM and balancing machines, using the proper equipment;
• Set precision measuring instruments to validate dimensions, angles and contours to exceptionally tight tolerances;
• Perform mathematical calculations involving the use of trigonometry and geometry;
• Create and maintain trigonometric spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel;
• Perform IT transactions related to verification and calibration of equipment;
• Participate in the training process;
• Occasional travel to other PWC facilities;
• Work in teams and communicate with various internal customers and equipment suppliers as required.

Specific responsibilities of position: Qualifications required: • College diploma in aeronautics or mechanical engineering;
• Knowledge of mathematical functions of Microsoft Excel;
• Relevant experience: Two to five years in the field of aeronautics;
• Functional spoken and written English and French;
• Flair for problem solving and an analytical mind;
• Autonomy and resourcefulness;
• Before being invited for interview, candidates must first pass a theoretical and practical test;
• Microsoft Office knowledge;
• Proficiency in SAP is an asset;
• Knowledge of ISO 10012 and 17025 standards an asset;
• College diploma in aeronautics or mechanical engineering;
• Knowledge of mathematical functions of Microsoft Excel;
• Relevant experience: Two to five years in the field of aeronautics;
• Functional spoken and written English and French;
• Flair for problem solving and an analytical mind;
