• Functionally responsible to the Pilot-in-Command on all flights

• Performs all duties and any specific duties assigned

• Assisting in the management of the flight and flying the aircraft in accordance and under the direction of the Captain

• Performing the flight duties as assigned by the Captain.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and foreign regulations as well as compliance with policies and procedures as described in the standard operating procedures manual.

• Review weather conditions at the destination, en route, alternate airports and departure points; assists the Captain in making decisions necessary to start, delay, or cancel flights or deviate from planned route or destination when operation conditions dictate.

• Reviews prepared or prepares flight plans; reviews and calculates aircraft weight and balance, fuel on board, and performance charts; uses checklists under the Captains supervision.

• Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the safety and comfort of the passengers; provides excellent customer service to passengers.

• Additional duties may include assisting with flight department documentation, participation on the Safety Committee and participation in team or Company initiatives.

• Maintains a high degree of crew coordination, performing duties in a professional, efficient, and cordial manner at all times

• Responsible to the Senior Manager, Technical Certification for duty assignments and training

• Responsible for Flight Department

• Ensures all regulatory requirements for flight operations are in compliance

• Coordinates maintenance requirements for scheduling of aircraft down time efficiency

• Ensure flight planning and coordination with Executive Administration office

• Greets the passengers and assists with passenger seating and luggage storage

• Conducts passenger briefings

• Assists with emergency evacuations

• Adhere to the duties and responsibilities outlined in the Crew Flight Manual and Flight Deck Handbook

• Maintains a current medical certificate as required by the Company and notifies their Assistant Chief Pilot if a medical (physical or mental) condition may impair their ability to perform the flight

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Arrange catering on flights operated without a flight attendant

• Maintains the highest ethical personal and professional standards.

• Other projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Must hold valid ATP certificate

• Must hold a valid and current FAA class 2 medical certificate

• Hold a Valid US Passport

• Minimum total flight time of 2,000 hours.

• Willingness to work flexible work hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, be on call for short notification of flight requirements with 2 hours..

Desired skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• At least 4,000 hours total flight time

• Previous corporate aviation experience

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to FAR Part 135, Part 91 Subpart K, and Part 91

• Must be highly skilled in all areas of aircraft operations.

• Working knowledge of current FAA Airman certificates and manufacturer's approved pilot training for each aircraft assigned

• Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations

• Strong organizational skills & advanced multi-tasking abilities

• Strong interpersonal, verbal/written and presentation skills are necessary to perform job at the expected level

• Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email and web-based applications

• Must possess a passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team atmosphere

• Must be able to pass a background investigation to obtain a public trust position (if required for the position).

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (if required for the position).

• Must be able to work weekends, other shifts and overtime as required.

• The essential physical requirements of the position will be reviewed with the applicant during the interview.

• Some travel will be required.

• Must adhere to Company policies/procedures and management instruction.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

Present a well-groomed appearance.

Beechjet 400A type rating desired, but not required.
