General responsibilities of the position: Area of Expertise:
The Engines in Service Engineer – Turboshafts is a technical expert in the installation, operation, maintenance, repair and modification of equipment, controls or ancillary products. They are responsible for providing guidance and training to customer personnel in establishing operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures and techniques. They are charged with performing analysis of equipment failures to determine cause and recommend corrective action.

Level of Responsibility:
· Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity.
· Contributes to the department or business unit by applying their advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas.
· May develop and coach others.
· Has expert knowledge that extends across multiple disciplines.

Specific responsibilities of position: · Lead Turboshaft customer engineering activities from start to successful resolution.
· Support event troubleshooting coordinate actionees and assist logistics as required.
· Interface with Field Service Representatives, Customer First Centre (Technical Help Desk) and operators through regular field event reviews.
· Ensure event resolution and provide follow-up through IPTs (integrated program teams), reliability monitoring, technical publication changes, campaigns or other corrective action.
· Lead and / or provide support for field escape containment and special inspection programs.
· Support OEM's (helicopter manufacturers) with key program projects and initiatives.
· Manage Program update, reliability, TCM, TCCA, program management team (PMT) packages, operator's conference.
· Represent the customer's voice during internal meetings.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor degree with 6 to 10 years' experience or a master degree with 4 to 7 years' experience.

Qualifications required: · Bachelor degree with 6 to 10 years' experience or a master degree with 4 to 7 years' experience.
· Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence others to drive actions to closure.
· High degree of initiative and judgment in analysis of service and engineering data.
· Ability to translate service and engineering data into action plans and strategy.
· Customer focused and proven customer relationship management skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Database management and metrics reporting skills, statistical analysis.
· Project management.
· Team player.
· Flexible, motivated and self-driven.
· Experience with turboshaft clients (an asset).
· AME license (an asset).
· Bilingual.
