Encore Maintenance Systems Support Analyst – Airframe Specialist
· Responsible for the oversight of aircraft structural repairs on sheet metal and composite components.
· Responsible for the structural modifications and repairs incorporated on company aircraft
· Liaise with Fleet Configuration Department on updates and verification of modification status as it pertains to Fleet Configuration Management control
· Responsible for maintaining Structural Deviation Inspection Requirement record
· Ability to fabricate, assemble, locate, and install sheet metal parts and components by forming, drilling, shaping, bending, cutting, riveting, filing, and dimpling
· Responsible for maintaining the aircraft fleet dent and damage log
· Support Maintenance Department with dent and damage report/mapping as required
· Liaise with outside engineering or aircraft manufacture for engineering/repair drawings for long term repairs
· Liaise with Maintenance Control for structural AOGs
· Liaise with Planning Department to coordinate and define scope of work for planned structural modifications and repairs
· Responsible to develop and maintain aircraft Corrosion Prevention and Control Program
· Liaise with Programs Department on the development and tracking of structural defects Engineering Controls and Task Cards in computerized maintenance tracking system (TRAX) for proper tracking
· Liaise with all functional areas of the Maintenance Department to improve reliability, cost reduction, warranty and the Maintenance Program by supporting new programs and projects as directed
· Technical release of aircraft when required
· Other duties as assigned
· Hold a valid Transport Canada Structures “S” license
· Transport Canada “M” licence considered an asset
· Must be able to attain a valid WestJet Encore Certification Authority (ACA) for one (1) or more types of transport category aircraft operated by the Company
· Minimum five (5) years’ experience in maintenance of transport category aircraft
· Must hold a valid Radio License Industry Canada Radio (aeronautical) Certificate
· Familiarity with TRAX / Sabre suite considered an asset
· Intermediate computer skills in the Microsoft Office Suite is required
· Has good knowledge of the Transport Canada Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) requirements
· Display adequate knowledge of industry practices and understanding of the responsibilities
· Ability to plan, layout, assemble, and install sheet metal components working from blueprints, verbal instructions and sketches
· Ability to read and interpret technical data such as Structural Repair Manual, Repair Drawings and Manufactures Engineering Drawings

· Must be flexible to work shift work and travel to support AOGs and off base maintenance events
