The Landing System division of UTC Aerospace has an opportunity for a Disassembler II on the 3rd shift. The selected individual will disassemble landing gear into major and minor components for processing. This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.

​Core Responsibility :

* Clean parts by steam and/or solvent cleaning in accordance with overhaul manual and GR specifications.
* Remove finishes from components using plastic bead blasting.
* Remove bushings from components using hydraulic equipment and special tools as required
* Ability to Interpret blueprints and overhaul manuals for disassembly purposes.
* Moderate computer skills
* Ability to operate hand tools, electrical and pneumatic tools
* Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
* Ability to speak, read and understand English

Qualification:

* 2+ years of experience in aviation preferred in landing gear

* Ability to Interpret blueprints and overhaul manuals for disassembly purposes.

* Basic computer skills.

* Ability to operate hand tools,

Education:

High School Diploma, or equivalent
