Position Overview:

This position has global responsibility for Hawaiian Airlines Cargo Sales

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee Cargo Sales on the mainland US, Asia, Oceana, Honolulu, Neighbor Islands, and key offline-GSA origins (HKG, FRA, MEX, etc)

* Develop and sustain relationships with freight forwarders, contract service providers and interline partners and other large revenue sources, and direct solication of business from said customers

* Manage and develop cargo Sales Managers and Representatives for all aspects of sales activity within the State of Hawaii and GSAs outside the State

* Develop metrics and Sales objectives for Sales Managers and Representatives within the State of Hawaii

* Define and monitor metrics for sales effectiveness throughout network
* Meets revenue targets through execution of pre-planned targeted sales plan, measures results against plan

* Maintains an awareness of competitive issues throughout the globe and makes recommendations on competitive actions to be taken

* Resolves operational issues with appropriate internal resources or ground handlers

* Works in concert with other sales departments, both external and internal customers to further Hawaiian Airlines’ effort to attain more revenue in all market segements and maintain a high profile for the department and company

* Professional development, and other related duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience
* Five years of professional experience, with two years as a manager with direct reports in the specific industry / functional area

* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Powerpoint)
* Industry Sales experience
* Able to work weekends and/or evenings when necessary
* Well organized, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and detail oriented

* Able to create and maintain positive working relationships, both internally and externally

* Self-starter and be able to work independently
* Posses a valid passport and able to acquire an AOA badge

Preferred Qualifications:

* Master's Degree, relevant certifications and professional training programs
