Moog’s Aircraft Group has been offering
Superior Engineering and Advanced Technologies to the Military Aircraft
Market since the company’s inception in the 1950’s. Bill Moog’s invention
enabled the technology for Fly-by-Wire flight controls used in today’s modern
aircraft. In the 1980’s we led development of flight controls for the B-2, in
the 1990’s we developed the flight control system for the X-43 Hyper-X UAV,
and today are delivering flight controls for Fighter Aircraft, Rotorcraft,
Special Mission, as well as Unmanned Aircraft.

We
are looking for a Depot Materials
Coordinator to be responsible for the Inventory Control, Receiving
Inspection, Depot Repair, Maintenance of Moog Stockroom,
Shipping/Receiving/Tracking of Parts and Units via UPS, USPS, and FedEx, and
the Creation of Various Reports on a regular basis at the Moog Stockroom
onsite at the Jacksonville, FL Naval Air Station.

A qualified candidate must possess the skills sets and
experience to perform the below functions:

Inventory Control:

* Maintain traceability for all paperwork
* Warehousing and proper storage of all Moog parts
* Store all Government property in secured areas
* Perform a wall-to-wall physical inventory reconciliation

Receiving Inspection:

* Receive hardware/components from Moog Torrance
* De-trash and complete visual inspection
* Prepare kits to be sent to Depot
* Verify paperwork and store unit

Depot Repair:

* Deliver the unit/parts to depot personnel
* Coordinate with Artisans (Navy Technicians) to complete the work
* Liaison between Moog and Depot
* Responsible to ensure Moog Quality standards are meet
* Track units as they move through the depot in Moog MBS

Maintain Moog stockroom at Depot

* Distribute parts as needed at Depot
* Responsible for Moog’s 24 hours parts turn-around commitment
* Responsible for parts replenishment at our on-site stockroom
* Store extra parts from completed kits at on-site stockroom

Shipping unit to end customer

* Confirm C of C and Serviceable Tag (DD1574) is signed by the depot
* Create shipping documents Moog MBS system (DD250/1348)
* Coordinate DCMA approval at Depot
* Coordinate with ATAC or other carrier for pick-up

Tracking cost at the Depot

* Collect and monitor Artisan cost at depot
* Coordinate training and lean events to reduce labor hours
* Document material usage for each unit

Correspondence Publications

* Publish when units are received
* Publish when units are sent to Depot for work
* Publish when units are being presented to DCMA
* Publish when units are shipped.
* Publish monthly status of hours used per assembly
* Notify Moog of extra parts not used from completed kits

Candidate
must be self-motivated as well as professional as they will be interacting
with various ranking officials from the U.S. Navy on a daily basis, with
limited Moog Supervision onsite.

High
school diploma or equivalent required.
