Located in Clearwater, FL, this role performs a variety of tasks associated with new business proposal estimates. This role is also responsible for Continuous Improvement efforts through launching new programs and processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: include the following:
* Responsible for the overall estimating process to ensure new business proposals are executed in an accurate and timely manner.
Generates Bill of Materials (BoM’s) and Basis for Estimates (BoE’s) and coordinate efforts with Procurement team.
Create standard estimating templates to be used in the process of establishing BoE’s.
Document proposed manufacturing processes to ensure waste elimination.
Develop continuous improvement initiatives to ensure new programs effectively launch into production.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering or related technical field
8-10 years related experience and/or similar combination of education/experience.
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in composite fabrication environment preferred.
Proficiency with computer based applications, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), Lotus CC Mail, CAD and Micro CADAM (2-D) software.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing certifications preferred.
