Exciting opportunity to work as a lead on the Financial Operations team supporting Communications, Finance, Strategy, and Program Management. This is a redesigned role in our organization supporting the individual finance analysts on the team, working closely with the integration team as we develop the Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) and forecast updates, and helping develop our processes for managing the cost of each function.

Candidates should have a strong interest and capability in business planning, reporting, and analysis. The job requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to lead in a team oriented, results driven environment. Must be comfortable challenging processes, as well as the validity and underlying assumptions of reported numbers and forecast update requests.

The ideal candidate will consistently seek opportunities to improve processes that enhance the functions we support, while working in a changing, fast-paced business environment. The ability to adjust priorities to multiple/changing demands will be key to success in this position.

Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications:

* A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Business related field is a requirement for this position.
* Experience leading teams

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Preferred Qualifications:

* An understanding of cost accounting, cost policy, and enterprise finance systems (i.e. CARMS, CLAS, COGNOS) is preferred, but not required.

Typical education and experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
