The BGS Contract team located in Philadelphia is seeking a Contracts Representative to support planning, organizing, development and submittal of International proposals and subsequent negotiation and administration.

Position Responsibilities:


As member of the Contracts’ Acquire organization and Program/Business Management teams, conducts and leads proposal development, negotiation and award of International contracts.


Represents the company to diverse customers, including U.S. Government, commercial, international and public/private institutions.


Authorized to exercise commitment/signature authority in accordance with formal delegation to negotiate and contract for the sale or development of high performance defense and aerospace products and services.


Administers routine contracts and agreements during the entire acquisition and product lifecycle.


Develops and/or maintains effective working relationships with customer counterparts and the next level within the customer organization.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense FAR and/or Direct Commercial Sales' Contracting Terms and Conditions.


Experience working on a project team resulting in delivery of the end goal


Analytical skills.


Experience supporting reviews of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and/or customer requirements.


Experience interfacing with customers and developing relationships.

Typical Skills/Education:

Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
