The Boeing Company is seeking a Configuration Management & Product Integration Engineer to support the team in Dallas, Texas.
The Configuration Management & Product Integration Engineer:
Ability to oversee and lead the development and management of Program Management best practice baselines through the review the technical analysis of process and product baselines of integrated complex products.
Ability to effectively apply and execute to Configuration Management (CM) processes (reference MIL-HDBK-61A; ANSI/EIA 649) in accordance with appropriate customer, company, contractual & regulatory requirements.
Ability to lead and guide the verification of compliance of baselines to technology, architecture and strategic requirements and objectives.
Ability to lead and direct the definition and allocation of configuration management and data management requirements for product hardware and software and for engineering design data systems (e.g., CATIA, ENOVIA, Teamcenter, ClearCase) throughout the product lifecycle from development through decommissioning.
Oversees the definition and integration of configuration/data management plans that span multiple engineering functions. Makes certain that appropriate technology solutions are applied to the management and delivery of program data to authorized users (e.g., SDRL, CDRL).
Ability to work cooperatively with the customer, engineering groups, other functional groups (for example. manufacturing, scheduling, supplier management, and contracts), suppliers, and other Boeing organizations and sites.
Active Top Secret Clearance.
National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) and/or Configuration Management II (CMII) Certification.
This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
