In your role, you will:

- Partner with Human Resources Business Partners and management (including executives) to recommend total compensation strategies to attract and retain the right talent;
- Act as a specialist and prepare sporadic studies and issue recommendations while facilitating and supporting the change on topics such as incentive compensation plans, sales commissions and long-term compensation plans, job evaluation, pay equity, working conditions, international compensation for the entire staff (executives, managers and union members)
- Maintains compensation and benefits philosophies up-to-date with the geographic market and industries;

Project role:

- Participate in the creation of a Compensation Center of Expertise: Oversee compensation market trends and lookout for best practices;
- Realize projects to review or implement compensation programs, policies and practices that may have a significant impact on the organization's profitability. The different projects are:
- Standardization and alignment with Bombardier Transportation of our compensation structures & salary scales and tools across 43 countries.
- Ensure an optimal communication of our compensation programs with HR stakeholders, managers and our 35,000 employees.

- Act as an agent of change when implementing improvement initiatives, along with innovative solutions in a context of continuous evolution.
- Work on the project planning to support the team to deliver compensation annual processes: variable compensation, merit review, long term incentive;

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or the equivalent
- You have five to eight (5-8) years of compensation relevant experience
- You have experience with international compensation such as USA, Europe, Asia would be an asset
- You have project management and process implementation experience
- You have superior analytical skills and ability to synthesize
- You have strong planning skills and rigorous work ethic
- You are results-oriented and are recognized for your multi-tasking, in a fast pace environment
- You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- You are bilingual (French and English, oral and written)
