Boeing is searching for a Chemical Management Specialist to support a growing program in which the applicant must be willing to work at the Heath, Ohio site and that NO Relocation Assistance is offered.

Completes labeling of hazardous materials or hazardous wastes. Assists with the preparation of hazardous waste manifests and hazardous material shipping paperwork for signature. Collects data or performs sampling to support environmental, health and safety compliance. Conducts compliance reviews of local and system-wide processes and practices to ensure regulatory compliance. Assists with clean-up of hazardous releases. Creates and provides training to area chemical focal. Conduct trend analysis to identify gaps, develop and lead teams based on the trend analysis to implement continuous improvements. Perform periodic site and area audits to ensure compliance. Conducts clean up of hazardous releases. Assists with operation of wastewater treatment system.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
• Familiarity with labeling, transporting of hazardous materials or hazardous wastes, creating and maintaining inventory listings and reporting metrics.
• Assists with the preparation of hazardous waste manifests and hazardous material shipping paperwork for signature.
• Collects data or performs sampling to support environmental, health and safety compliance.
• Conducts compliance reviews of local and system-wide processes and practices to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assists with clean-up of hazardous releases.
• Creates and provides training to area chemical focal.
• Conduct trend analysis to identify gaps, develop and lead teams based on the trend analysis to implement continuous improvements.
• Perform periodic site and area audits to ensure compliance.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship

Typical Education/Experience:
