Location:  Portland, Oregon


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate agreed revenue and services delivery to standards within the assigned territory
  • Maintain and increase customer base and revenue
  • Manage Key Accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and manage a team.
  • Produce marketing plans and implement goal setting programs for assigned territory.
  • Work with Cargo Sales & Service Supervisor to manage the GHA’s with focus on service standards and cost control
  • Work at all levels in the organization and with widely differing groups of people (agents, forwarders, handling agents)
  • Plan and focus on key priorities
  • Communicate with all Government Authorities for the compliance of aviation and local laws
  • Oversee all budgetary and non-budgetary expenditures
  • Manage local E&A activities
  • Has a formal business relationship with the Functional Duty Holder (FDH) of the applicable services and understands the process of risk escalation to the FDH
  • Role of Operational Duty Holders with accountability at an operational level for the safe operation of services, including those contracted to others; Has day to day responsibility for managing operational performance, including performance of suppliers who are contracted to deliver the services, to ensure that:

- There is compliance with the quality standards and regulatory requirements

- The procedures & instructions are followed

- The service is delivered in accordance with contracted terms

  • Informs Cargo Services of updates to duty holder or any permanent delegation



  • Strong knowledge of the airline and international air freight industry
  • At least 5 years cargo management with sales experience
  • Proven success records in managing a team of staff
  • In-depth communication, management and demonstrated leadership ability
  • Proven success records in setting and achieving goals and targets
  • Knowledge of computer softwares such as MS Word/Excel/Act
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good decision-making and time management skills
  • Experience in dealing with Local, State, and Federal government agencies including suppliers.
  • All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States. No sponsorship for employment visa status is available for this position.
