Summary/Objective:  The Cadet Pilot Recruiter will be responsible for assisting in the development and executing PSA’s campus recruitment strategy.  This includes building and cultivating strong relationships with an assigned portfolio of targeted universities/schools and candidates that support the talent needs for both future experienced hire pilots and Cadet Program recruits.
Essential Functions:  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Manage interview and selection process to ensure superior candidate experience while providing strategic advice to senior leadership.
  • Assist in developing an annual recruiting plan, including budget and goals for each school in portfolio.
  • Represent the organization effectively when on campus for both formal recruiting events (e.g., career fairs, information sessions, and interviews) and non- recruiting events (e.g., resume workshops, advisory council meetings).
  • Develop strong relationships with career services, faculty, student organizations and diversity/ disability offices, and other groups identified as relevant to recruiting.
  • Serve as the company point of contact for students.
  • Expand our employment brand by collaborating with marketing and social media teams to develop key messages, social media campaigns, marketing collateral, displays (banners) and giveaways while demonstrating a strong candidate experience.
  • Identify and cultivate former alumni as potential campus ambassadors or key executives.
  • Ensure the recruiting team maintains compliance with company policies and procedures as well as with all applicable external regulations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate recruiting records using applicant tracking system to fulfill external reporting requirements and provide internal customers with meaningful statistics and analysis.
  • Facilitate and schedule qualified applicants with Flight Operations for interviews.
  • Assist in establishing recruiting program metrics and monitor these to ensure program success.
  • Provide periodic updates to the Director of Recruiting and key executives regarding the progress of the program.
  • Other projects as assigned.
Competencies and Knowledge:  The successful candidate should have demonstrated skills in the following:  excellent interpersonal skills; creative and passionate about University hiring and relationships, interest in redefining and/or enhancing the university program; influence; approachability; performance management; problem-solving; strong communication (verbal and written); ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment; professional aptitude; multi-tasking and adaptability in an aggressive growth environment.
Supervisory Responsibility:  This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:  This job operates in a professional office environment, in University settings, and on-the-road.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb up and down stairs; lift weight up to 25 lbs; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:  This is a full-time position with an expectation of occasional evening and weekend hours as job duties demand. 
Travel:  Extensive travel, up to 70% of the time.
Required Education and Experience:  Minimum two years of campus recruitment or career services experience.  BS/BA Degree required.  Knowledge of applicant tracking systems and other university applicant websites, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:  Excellent client management skills that will allow PSA to grow our college recruitment program.
