£20,000-£22,000 inc. variable elements earned when flying
Job Purpose
To provide excellent customer service to passengers while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the flight, whilst displaying the Flybe values. 
Key Responsibilities
Pre-flight safety 
* Attend pre-flight safety briefing
* On time attendance of pre-flight briefings
* Ensure full awareness of key cabin crew flight information including, flight details, schedule and passenger special requirements including dietary, wheelchair access, number of infants on board
* Remain current with latest safety and service information through the Notac system
* Wear the uniform to company standards as directed in the cabin crew handbook and uniform guidelines
Completion of pre-flight safety on board
* Carry out pre-flight checks on safety equipment and ensure correct working order
* Take corrective action in line with procedure
* Ensure that required documentation is completed and logged
* Check galleys are secure prior to take-off
* Carry out pre-flight safety demonstration, informing passengers of aircraft safety procedures
* Carry out required pre-flight passenger safety checks
* Ensure all luggage is securely stowed away correctly
Provide excellent pre-flight customer service
* Ensure that passenger areas of the aircraft are clean and tidy
* Ensure information in seat pockets is up to date and meets Flybe requirements
* Check catering stock and equipment is loaded in accordance with guidelines. 
Provision of high quality safety support and emergency response
* Ensure passengers follow safety procedures correctly in normal and emergency situations
* Provide necessary reassurance and support
* Provide first aid to passengers where necessary
* Liaise and inform Cabin Crew seniors of all matters which require escalation and logging
* Ensure special categories of passengers have the support they require
Provide boarding and disembarking customer service
* Assist passengers boarding and disembarking the flight
* Welcome all passengers boarding Flybe aircraft, ensuring each person is greeted with a smile and verbal greeting
* Ensure passengers disembark safely at the end of their flight and check that personal possessions have not been left on the aircraft
Provide on board customer service for high levels of passenger comfort during flight
* Provide an outstanding service to our passengers throughout the flight including the serving of drinks and snacks. 
* Make announcements to customers.
* Respond to customer requirements during the flight, to ensure their comfort and safety.
* Carry out the sales as appropriate and achieve sales targets.
Complete post flight documentation
* Complete all relevant paperwork correctly
* Ensure trollies are sealed appropriately
* Ensure monies are banked or secured as per guidelines
Health and Safety
* Understand individual operational safety and security responsibilities
* Be aware of personal health and safety and the health and safety of others at work 
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Providing excellent customer service to ensure their safety and comfort during flights
* Ensure all safety equipment is in working order before each flight
* Assist passengers boarding and disembarking each flight
* Demonstrate safety procedures and equipment to passengers
* Experience of facing the general public
* Full valid driving licence 
* Must hold a valid medical assessment and report confirming you are fit to fly as Cabin Crew
* Tactful and assertive in time of emergencies
* Calm under pressure
* Confident and friendly
* Self-motivated
* Live 60 minutes travelling distance from the airport
