* 3-5 year experience in a Buyer or Purchasing role in a manufacturing enviroment.
* BS in Business Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline a plus.
* Computer skills / Key board / Spreadsheets (Excel) / Word Processing (Word) / Power Point
* Highly energetic and multi task oriented
* Able to work with minimal supervision
* Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
* Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing.
* U.S. Government Small Business Administration knowledge, a plus
* Knowledge of U.S. Government (FAR & DFAR) and Commercial purchasing practices, a plus
* Travel – up to 20% of time
