GATE Europe is looking for a well experienced Quality and Business Management Manager.

You will act as a leader to plan, implement, assure and improve the Business Management System (BMS) to meet the needs & expectations of the site and interested parties and therefore maintain all associated certification and regulatory approvals. Furthermore, you will provide the guidance, governance and expertize to the site leadership team to nurture a culture of Quality in all site activities, ensure quality compliance and support the delivery of the site business objectives. You lead a team that consists of a QA auditer and BMS configuration manager and y ou will be part of the Site Leadership team and report functionally to the regional BMS/QMS manager and operationally to the site operations manager.
The grade of this role is O (CLA).
Responsibilities:
Working collaboratively with the site Site Leadership Team to create and sustain a Quality culture and provide appropriate governance and assurance leadership
Planning, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the site Business Management System (BMS) as a complementary extension to the GKNA Global BMS and in compliance with global BMS governance
Ensuring that the local BMS meets all requirements for programmes, customer needs and third party requirements within the defined scope of the site BMS
Systemic analysis of Business Management Systems data to the site Management Review process ensuring effective, data based, factual inputs to business decisions
Ensuring the site’s audit requirements are integral to the Regional Audit Manager plans, ensuring compliance with BMS internal, customer (2nd party) and external (3rd party) audit requirements and delivering on site follow up activities
Planning, conducting & follow up activities (including systemic analysis of risk/opportunity) of product audit as required by the programmes and activities within the scope of the BMS
Systemic risk management and mitigation for the business management systems with focus on quality and quality compliance. Escalating any BMS risks to the Site Leadership and if appropriate the Regional Director of BMS and for support/co-ordination of appropriate actions to mitigate/address these risks
More Responsibilities:
Coordination, planning, hosting and leadership to ensure successful outcome of all Customer (2nd party) & Certification Body (3rd party) audits and assessments, Supporting Site Local Business Process Managers (LBPM) in resolving any issues raised as part of the audits
Act as the site representation on business management systems and Quality compliance related matters with Customers, Certifying Bodies and Aerospace Authorities
Directing Local Business Process Managers (LBPM) to ensure the adoption of the GKNA Global BMS, adapting and tailoring the local BMS processes that control and improve effectiveness and efficiency, to support the business objectives
Planning and management of the system requirements for hosting and deployment of the local BMS, its stated processes & associated controls and for training people who will be defining/utilising its functions
Recording and measuring of any defined Site Business Management Systems Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and for taking the actions necessary to improve
Managing Continuous Improvement of the BMS as well as forward planning on the integration of new regulation/specification requirements
Profile:
Master / Bachelor level education (Technical Business; Logistics; Manufacturing Engineering) within relevant branch; An effective communicator with good soft/presentation skills; Experienced in coaching others with strong influencing skills; Commercial awareness; Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing/Continuous improvement skills; Experience dealing with customers, certifying bodies and suppliers; Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace
Thorough understanding of the content and application of the IAQG SCMH
Knowledge of and experience in application of process management and risk management principles in context of BMS planning, development and assurance
APQC knowledge or experience with common industry process classification frameworks.
Creative and innovative in non-traditional means of compliance to innovate Business management systems
AATT training on AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120
