AW139 SAR Line Pilot (EASA ATPL)

Curacao - Caribbean

As a result of an extension to the scope of our contract to provide helicopter support to the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard, we are pleased to invite applications for an additional permanent AW139 Captain to join our operation based in Curaçao.

The successful applicant will have previous diverse operational experience in civil and military operations, along with a willingness to work flexible shift patterns and support the occasional detachment of up to 3 weeks’ duration.  Applicants must meet the following essential requirements:

EASA ATPL(H) MP (or SP with MCC)

  • EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate (unrestricted)
  • AW139 Type Rating with a minimum of 100 hours on type
  • Operational SAR Experience
  • English Language Proficiency Level 6
  • Minimum of 2000 hours total flying time of which:

- 1000 hours PIC Twin Turbine Engine helicopters
- 1000 hours Multi-crew, of which 500 hours must be as PIC
- 300 hours Instrument Flight of which 150 hours must be as PIC
- 250 hours Night
-150 hours NVIS

Ideally, candidates will also have the following:
  • EASA TRI or TRE qualifications
  • EASA CRM Trainer qualification
  • Be in current flying practice on the AW139
  • STASS/HUET current
