Oversee development of the landing gear/steering control unit by the supplier
* •Requirements definition
* •Review supplier documentation (HW/SW)
* •Create in-house documentation including ICD
* •Participate in the software audit
* •Prepare/review avionics testing involving a Landing Gear and Steering Control Unit
* •Liaise with the supplier
* •Define flight test instrumentation
* •Support of in-service equipment
* •Travel maybe required
Understanding of software/hardware requirements, analysis and V&V for applications in airborne equipment and systems per RTCA DO-178B/DO-254
Aerospace experience related to components, equipment and systems including digital buses in their operating environment
EMI/HIRF/Lightning requirements and testing
Ability to apply safety, reliability and maintainability concepts
Knowledge of applicable aerospace standards, procedures
Understanding of applicable certification regulations; FAR/JAR 25
Previous involvement in a/c systems development an asset
Experience with “DOORS” requirements management software is an asset
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Actively be involved in any Health, Safety and Environment initiatives as HS&E is every employee's responsibilities.
