The CPL Fulfillment Leader manages the order fulfillment process within the Crescent Part Logistics Center (CPLC) warehouse for customers across Spares and Assembly. Responsibilities include order allocation and prioritization, working cross-functionally to address part criticality, and communication of part shortages. Provides oversight of the order tracking process and ensures orders are processed in accordance with the organization's customer service standards.
In addition, the CPL Fulfillment Leader will:
* Order management across ~20K parts within the CPLC warehouse, providing customer service against critical part needs
* Develop ability to project the service level that will be achieved, given the committed level of inventory & establish service level targets for stocked items
* Identify leading indicators to stock outs & determine impacts of key planning levers to ensure the right level of inventory
* Identify overstocked and under-stocked items
Additionally, the CPL Fulfillment Leader's responsibilities may also include :
* Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels
* Lead negotiations and allocate needs to specific suppliers
* Negotiate terms and conditions and transmit information to Procurement
* Manage claims
* Includes commercial sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc.
* This may also include purchasing activities
* Develop new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
* Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects
* Work together with high level people from the business at SPB and EB level
* Specify needs, communicate about project approach and present outcomes of research done
* Provide technical / commercial assistance to Commodity Buyers to develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge
* Actively participate in supplier performance reviews
* Advise Functional managers regarding projects, processes and procedures within own field
* Contribute to project as a team member or leads small projects
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Sourcing)
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sourcing Management, Logistics, or Fulfillment
* Prior Sourcing experience preferred but not required
* Strong ability to analyze and resolve problems
* Good communication skills and a team player with good influencing skills
* Demonstrated ability to develop and utilize data, metrics, and drive continuous improvement
* Familiarity or prior experience with Oracle preferred but not required
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Ability to influence others and lead small teams
* Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
* Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
* Effective problem identification and solution skills
* Proven analytical and organizational ability
