* With minimal supervision, verify that applications meet business and technical requirements by performing quality assurance activities including functional testing, regression testing and integration testing

* Responsible for writing and executing the test cases and individual test steps, which includes preparing test data based on business requirements/functional specs/use cases/acceptance criteria

* Review requirements for testability and consistency, and provide feedback

* Actively participate in iterative discussions deriving acceptance criteria

* Analyze testability of requirements/acceptance criteria and provides testing estimate

* Communicate test status including progress, defects, risk and potential impacts

* Validate beta and production insertions

* Evaluate any defects found in UAT and post production in order to add or modify test cases to catch these defects on future releases

* Work with other QA or UAT teams to perform end-to-end testing across integrated software products

* Assess risk to quality service based upon results of verification and validation

* Prioritize and executes functional, regression and positive/negative tests

* Report on project or iterative level testing status

* Follow quality assurance standards and processes based on direction from team leads

Job Qualifications

* Undergraduate degree in or related field or equivalent experience/training

* Candidate must have 1 or 2 years of Quality Assurance Automation experience

* Exposure to the programming languages is required, junior programmers are welcome to apply

* Experience with testing tools (e.g. SoapUI, Selenium, Quality Center, SQL)

* Understanding of Quality Management and "best practices" with regard to testing techniques, methodologies, processes, tools, artifacts and measurement

* Detail oriented; solid analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

* Proficient in Windows environment and solid skills with Microsoft Office software

* Ability to effectively meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment

* Demonstrates initiative, follow-through, sound business judgment

* Sound business knowledge of airline applications highly desirable

* Preferred experience in an Agile environment

* Must have strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills

* Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management

* Experience preferred should include Helix, AACoRN, SABRE, QIK Check and Advocate

* Knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, Github, Rally and SharePoint a plus
