To provide parts support to both internal and external customers. This includes inventory management, parts fulfillment, placing orders with vendors, and shipping and receiving functions.
I. Receives parts to include the inspection process, solving discrepancies, incoming freight recovery, computer entry, stocking in bin locations.
II. Issues parts and kits to shop floor, assisting mechanics with parts requirements.
III. Handles outside orders from customers and prepares parts for shipment. Requires ability to read parts catalogs and knowledge of customer warranty versus program coverages.
IV. Follows up on back order summary coordinating with Aftermarket Inventory Planning team and Aftermarket Operations team. When required, elevating backorders to the AOG team for resolution.
V. Performs inventory accuracy audits and researches discrepancies.
VI. Creates stock replenishment orders to maintain inventory stocking parameters.
VII. Ensures packages are properly shipped to conform with box and handling requirements, hazardous or dangerous goods and export regulations.
VIII. Reviews service orders to ensure all parts related actions are closed to support the aircrafts return to service date.
IX. Performs other related duties as required.
Requires high school education or equivalent plus general knowledge of aircraft parts and blueprint reading. Ability to read, understand and analyze illustrated parts catalogs, overhaul manuals, and aircraft engine manuals.
Aircraft parts experience preferred.
