General responsibilities of the position: As planned in the progression program, perform the simplest to the most complex of the department’s operations in order to assemble and disassemble a wide variety of engine configurations. Observe the process and results of assembly performed by others in order to witness compliance with standards. May be asked to perform the simplest operations in order to install and test a limited variety of engine configurations. Perform related and general duties. Keep equipment and work station clean and in good working condition.
Specific responsibilities of position: Assembles various engine sub-assemblies, main line work and testing of gas turbine engines.
Performs work according to assigned AFS's, giving necessary attention to the use and care of equipment, tools and safe working practices.
Follows standard procedures, build, test and strip engines to specified requirements.
Performs adequate housekeeping duties; clean and maintain special tooling, work benches, etc.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
