Job Summary:

The AOG Support Representative is a hands-on, working position responsible for the day to day decisions about parts procurement and stock levels in coordination with MX Control.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the procurement and expedition of parts/materials to support line maintenance
  • Materials AOG buyer
  • Manages day to day inventory stock levels in coordination with MX Control
  • Key contact for negotiation of pricing for parts and repairs
  • Responsible for purchasing, repairing and storage of spare parts in accordance with the procedures defined in General Maintenance Manual
  • Analyzes and ensures an adequate inventory is available to support Airlines aircraft(s) is maintained
  • Responsible for ensuring that stores and purchasing required training for HAZMATs, shipping and receiving, and any additional training defined in Airlines’ approved/accepted manuals (as applicable) that are pertinent to the position are completed
  • Responsible for overseeing the shipping, forwarding, and routing component parts to outstations
  • Responsible for routing, forwarding, and shipping component parts to vendors for required repair or overhaul(s)
  • In the event the Stores Clerk position is not filled, the Materials/Purchasing Representative is responsible for assuming the duties and responsibilities defined in the Stores Clerk position


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and/or the combination of education and proven experience, preferred
  • Five years of aviation AOG or materials and purchasing experience, preferred.
  • Must speak, read and write English fluently
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets our company’s insurance standards
  • Must be well groomed and maintain a professional appearance
  • Regular attendance and punctuality is required
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must pass a background check which includes a pre-employment drug test, finger printing and criminal history records check (CHRC)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Ability to use technical manuals, good mechanical aptitude and solve problems effectively
  • Ability to stay focused and work under pressure during stressful situations
  • Advanced Computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Office programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with strong work ethics
  • AOG experience preferred
  • Flexible to work 12 hour midnight shift and where needed on the schedule
  • Must have good computer skills and typing
  • TRAX experience preferred
  • Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast pace environment
  • Must have good soft skills all around
  • Good communication skills and work collaboratively with other departments
  • Process oriented
