Details of the position :

·       Position Title: Aircraft Mechanic .

·       Age limit : 52 Max 

·       Start Date: Immediate

·       Minimum Years of Experience: 3

 

Responsibilities:

·       Perform maintenance, repairs and inspections on Diamond DA40, DA42 aircraft

·       Remove and install aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, wings, fuselage, 

      and mechanical flight controls, and sub-components.

·       Service and lubricate aircraft and subsystems.

·       Safely prepare aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks and services.

·        Perform scheduled inspections and assist in performing special inspections.

·       Perform limited maintenance operational checks.

·       Diagnose and troubleshoot aircraft systems using special tools and test equipment.

·       Perform work necessary to comply with Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer and data.

·       Participate in any required training programs.

·       Serve as a mentor, providing on-the-job training to partner nation personnel.

·       Ensure that work areas assigned are maintained in a clean and tidy manner.

 

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·       Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts.

·       Must have basic knowledge of electrical theory and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, and micrometers.

·       Must be able to prioritize workloads and lead teams through complex aircraft-relevant tasks.

·       Must be detail oriented, have a strong work ethic, and be capable of managing multiple tasks.

·       Must possess a strong sense of workplace safety, professional customer service, and task urgency.

 

Job Requirements:

·       Certificate/License : EASA B1 License or EASA B2 License or FAA A&P License or GACA A&P License

·       Languages : Must be proficient in ENGLISH language to READ, WRITE and SPEAK good English due to GACA licensing requirements

·       Valid passport with no travel restrictions

 

Preferred:

Authorized Inspector Rating preferred
