Provide leadership, proposal development expertise and proposal process training and coaching to teams in pursuit of major proposals. Responsible for managing and/or supporting teams in all phases of the company's bid and proposal process in response primarily to government requests for proposals.

Coordinates technical, pricing, contractual, and internal proposal support resources to ensure appropriate response to RFP', and timely submission or proposals and additional information requests.

Reports progress to Management and Senior Leadership on proposal status.

Responsible for incorporation of strategies and win themes.

Responsible for working with subject-matter experts to gather technical information.

Serves as central point of contact on assigned proposals and leads teams that are multi-discipline or cross-functional.

Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.

Coordinates color reviews (pink-team, red-team, black-hat, etc.), including preparation, scheduling, action item logging, and follow-up. Ensure color team review actions are completed and comments are incorporated into final proposals.

Manage FlightSafety proposals tools and templates database. assist in identifying gaps or areas for improvement in these tools and templates, and help improve the tools and templates.


Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in proposal writing or equivalent combination of education and experience. Government proposal writing experience preferred. A degree in a relevant field (communications, English, Business Management, Technical Writing, etc.) preferred. Foundation Certification from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) preferred.

Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.

Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.
