A flight engineer ensures all components of an aircraft are working correctly for it to operate. They also aid pilots with flight navigation, and communicate complicated flight-related gauges and instruments.
Job responsibilities for a flight engineer include testing and inspecting aircraft, and communicating with pilots with regards to weather patterns and other issues. You will also be responsible for assessing the appropriate amount of fuel needed for flights, controlling the electrical system and engine power, and ensuring all components, for example the air conditioning, are working appropriately.
