Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join a key client of ours on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The role will be responsible for maintaining and updating a financial pricing and cost model which the client has compiled to support its proposal for a significant uplift to its primary contract.
The position is expected to engage with the customer to clarify any query concerning the clients proposal and be a key member of the bidding team, negotiating on various elements of price proposal with the customer. This role will also be responsible for overseeing adjustments to financial projections for its lenders and engaging with the various stakeholders in respect of certain aspects around the client proposal. We are looking for anyone who has worked on the financial side of procurement, particularly modelling for military (preferably UK Forces)So if you have knowledge of MoD Single Source Procurement Regulations & Allowable Costs Review Methodology then this would be suitable.
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Experienced in the preparation of pricing inputs for bids and tenders
- High degree of Commercial Awareness
- Ability to analyse comlpex data and make recommendation's that support & improve tendering/bid preparation process
- Educated to degree level with a significant quantitative component
This role will be working remotely, apart from the occasion when you will be requested to attend meeting with internal managers at the client facility.
You will be working 40 hours per week.
Fixed Term Contract for 12 months.
Salary is £50,000 to £55,000 per annum
