S61 Support Helicopter TRI / TRE
British International Helicopters Services Ltd operate AW189, S61 and AS365 N2 type helicopters from a number of different international sites.
Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking to recruit an additional S61 TRI / TRE to join our highly skilled team operating at Mount Pleasant, Falkland Islands. Our S61 (Support Helicopter) predominantly supports the UK Ministry of Defence with training and passenger and equipment transfers.
Job Title: S61 Support Helicopter TRI / TRE
Location: Mount Pleasant Complex (MPC), Falkland Islands
Reporting Line: Manager Crew Training (MCT)
As S61 TRI / TRE you are responsible to the MCT for the conduct of training and testing in accordance with OM Part D.
You will be required to carry out 191 duty days per annum. This will include duty in the Falklands, required time at the SIM and travel days from and to your home within Europe. During SIM periods, you will be expected to complete training and checking in a S61 simulator (normally Cardiff).

The successful candidate will need to comply with local Immigration Policies, Medical Requirements and Security Clearance Processes to obtain a relevant work permit in the locations the company has operations, if not a resident in the location.
