Job Description
Job Title: Senior Test Engineer Ref no: 44020
Location: Gloucester
Salary: excellent + pension, health plan, 25 days holiday, profit share
Reporting to the Group Leader, a Senior Test Engineer is required to organise, implement and maintain electrical and electronic equipment to support development and qualification testing in compliance with AS/EN 9001.
Key Activities
* Oversee specific tasks and activities in a test-engineering environment.
* Set up tests and analyse engineering and statistical data.
* Liaise with customers and suppliers to meet customer requirements.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* HND or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
* Several years' post qualification experience.
* Experience of a hands-on role, preferably within the aerospace industry.
* Expertise in electrical and electronic test equipment and control systems.
* Good knowledge of servo-hydraulic functionality.
* In-depth knowledge of testing techniques such as strength, fatigue and environmental
* Sound background in control and data acquisition IT skills.
* General computer literacy.
