TAG Aviation UK Ltd are seeking a Business Developer on a permanent basis based in Farnborough.
This is a Business Development role focussed on driving new aircraft management clients for TAG Europe. It will be target and renumerated as such. The role will require a methodical approach to client prospecting, client research and database management. Through regular and on-ongoing telephone, email and postal communication with prospects, the BDA will be responsible for generating 'meeting opportunities' with aircraft owners, their advisors and relevant stakeholders. These meetings will be attended by TAG Senior Management with the objective of securing new aircraft management contracts for the company.
Duties Include:
- Desktop research
- Database management
- Cold and warm calling and client communications
- Preparing of documentation including management proposals and cost forecasts
- Cross selling other TAG services where appropriate
- Delivering an annual target for 'confirmed meetings' with aircraft management clients
Skills and Qualifications:
- Highly motivated self-starter and able to work using initiative
- A proven track-record in cold-calling acquisitions via telephone sales
- Well-presented and comfortable conversing with clients up to and including board level
- Good communicator and confident telephone manner
- Experience of working with a client database
Experience:
- Experience of selling complicated and bespoke service products in competitive environments
- A minimum of two years industry experience
- English speaking, French and German would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the aircraft management industry and competitive environment is highly advantageous
