A fabulous opportunity to join a world leader in both volume and bespoke manufacturing and engineering technologies/services who are continuing to grow their production facilities in the North West of England.
The role is to lead the quality control and assurance function, ensuring best practice and process across all manufacturing method, ensuring robust product is delivered to their global customer base. Management of external suppliers is also a key component of the role and the successful candidate will lead the SHE improvement initiatives across all the UK physical locations.
Ideally with a an HND or similar in an engineering discipline, you will have proven experience of delivering quality programmes ( ie.QS9000 , ISO9000 ) within volume engineering and manufacturing organisations ( ie, aerospace, chemicals, automotive ) . Holding a Six Sigma qualification is preferred and familiarity with techniques such as Kaizen a plus. Above all, you will need excellent communication skills,strict attention to detail and a genuinely analytical mind which allows you to identify potential issues and to propose clear solutions.
