We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a permanent role based on the Isle of Wight. This opportunity is offering a competitive salary and package.
The successful applicant will be required to provide quality oversight and process assurance to the Engineering departments activity.
The key requirements of the role will include supporting the bidding process through the assessment of the engineering processes there in, representing the Engineering function during the acquisition of potential new programmes with customers and ensuring compliance to the company, customer and regulatory authority requirements.
You will report and act on any issues that may have an impact on approvals and the integrity and compliance of the engineering processes and develop appropriate metrics for Engineering compliance and performance to then push for the achievement and maintenance of these.
This role supports the Engineer Quality Assurance activity, both internally and externally, through various means (including Systems audits where applicable) including supporting first article inspection.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Quality /Quality Systems Engineer, with expertise in interpreting customer, regulatory and internal quality requirements.
We are looking for an experienced Engineer or Quality Engineer who has worked extensively in an engineering team ideally within the aerospace sector.
Applicants should have expertise with quality systems assurance ideally in Aerospace Engineering as well as being a Lead Auditor.
