Job Description

This is an exciting growing business to be part of as both Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have ambitious growth plans and are adding new bases, destinations and aircraft.

As we continue to grow, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a temporary Station Supervisor based at Faro Airport. This varied and challenging new role reports directly to the General Manager Spain and Portugal and is responsible for the supervision of our ground handling operation in Faro in accordance with Company policy and legislation. This includes the overseeing of our Jet2holidays product and transfer operations. Although this role is initially a temporary position there is a strong possibility that it would become permanent for the right candidate.

The Station Supervisor would provide the decision making and leadership to drive the highest network standards of safety, customer loyalty, cost management, and ancillary revenues as well as monitoring our ground handling and Jet2holidays transfer operation to ensure they run safely, efficiently and punctually. Communication and reporting skills are key as the Station Supervisor would liaise with Head Office to ensure any new policies and practices are implemented and adhered to. This role will also provide weekly station reports and other data as and when required.

To be considered for this role you will be fluent in both written and spoken Portuguese / English and have supervisory or management experience of large teams within a customer service environment. This role requires someone with real drive and passion to manage this 24 / 7 operation.

As we are a 24 hour operation, the successful applicant will be required to work on a shift pattern and absolute flexibility will be required at all times.
