Job Description

Flight Dispatcher for corporate executive aircraft required by our client in Europe. The primary function of the Flight Dispatcher is to provide crews with safe and timely flight planning as well as releasing all information in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Furthermore the Flight Dispatcher will interact with the customerservice and sales to fulfill their specific needs, as well as with all coordinating all Company departments that input into the department. The posiition reports to the Head Operational Control Center.

Qualifications

  • Academic: - Minimum High School education
  • Position related: - Globally issued Dispatchers license
  • Languages: - Must have a very high standard of understanding, speaking, the reading and writing of English
  • Permits & Visas. - Must have the automatic right to work and live in the European Union (EU)

Experience

  • Ideally at least 2 years experience as a Flight Dispatcher
  • Advantageous to have worked within the executive and corporate jet sector or up to three years of previous similar work experience as Flight Dispatcher with an airline, FBO, flight department or airport

Knowledge

  • Must have good knowledge of weather theory, charts, etc.
  • Must have good knowledge of flight planning, aircraft performance, routing (CFMU-SITA-PPS-JEPP)
  • ER-OPS (similar to ETOPS) and Eco tinkering experience
  • Must have good understanding of Aviation Regulations (EU-OPS/ICAO/EASA)

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Evaluation of weather, route, weight/balance and performance for trip feasibility determination
  • Flight-planning & filing to include routing, handling, contracts, PPR, permits, slots, M&B, perfo, fuel
  • Mission creation with respect to crew duty times, crew training, hotac, transportation and flight safety
  • Flight watch
  • Efficient communication & interaction with crews, scheduling, crew services, handlers, etc
  • Efficient communication & interaction with customer (internal and external)
