Job Description
Systems Integration Engineer / Systems Engineer and Lead Systems Engineer / Project Engineer. - 4 new roles - Aerospace, Mechanical, Structural, R/D, Concept Design, New Product Development, Hose Movement, Electro/Mechanical, Mechanical.
The successful candidate will join the air to air refuelling project team and be engaged in systems integration activities and the development of new systems & components for aircraft and support the Lead Engineers across Wing Dispense Equipment (WDE) and Hose Drum Unit (HDU)
As a Systems Integration Engineer/ Systems Engineer / Lead Systems Engineer - your key responsibilities will include:-
- Planning and management of Systems Integration activities.
- Integration of system and sub-system requirements.
- Co-ordination of specialists such as design, performance, ILS and Product Support.
- Integration of sub-systems and equipment within the refuelling system.
- Integration of the refuelling system with the aircraft.
- Co-ordination of verification activities.
- Collation of data in support of system qualification and certification.
- Liaison with customers and provide support to rig, ground and flight tests.
- Technical decision making& Technical reporting.
- Product Development.
- Requirements Capture Validation and definition of verification strategy.
As a Systems Integration Engineer / Systems Engineer / Lead Systems Egineer - your qualifications and experience should include:
- Engineering Degree in mechanical, electrical, or aeronauticalengineering.
- Experience in a Mechanical or /Electrical , Electro/Mechanical environment with a strong background in the development of new systems and components within an Aerospace environment..
- Demonstrable experience of strategic and technical input into project teams.
- New Product Development.
- Requirements Capture. Validation and definition of verification strategy.
- Preparation of Specifications.
- Management of external suppliers.
- Solid experience of understanding complex systems in an Aeronautical environment and creating innovative solutions.
- Aircraft ground and flight test experience would be an advantage.
- Team Leadership for the lead roles
