Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, individual to join the Technical Team within the Manufacturing Laboratory. The facility manufactures a range of gas turbine compressor blades and vanes for a variety of civil and military applications. The purpose of this position is to provide technical support to seven Special Processes. (Heat Treatment, Chemical Machining, Electro-Discharge Machining, Welding, Peening, Thermal Spray and NDE) ensuring compliance to specification and the Quality Manual.

Essential Skills:

Strong understanding of Metallurgy and Materials

Ideally you will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Materials Science, Metallurgy of an appropriate Engineering discipline. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential coupled with a data driven and structured approach to problem solving.
