Job Description

Our client is a world leader in the design and manufacture of satellite systems. Their activities cover complete civil and military telecommunications and Earth observation systems, science and navigation programmes, together with avionics and a wide range of space equipment and associated ground infrastructure.

They have a new and exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer
Mechanical Project Engineer supporting projects from concept design through to delivery of hardware. The role requires a good understanding of a design for manufacture with a con current engineering team using the company processes and tools whilst managing the cost and schedule through the lifecycle. Generation of documents for design and manufacturing reviews is required. Presentation and leadership skills are required for this role to interact between specialists and make decisions based on their inputs.
Qualifications and skills required
Essential - Mechanical Engineering background, candidate must have previous experience in aerospace and a strong knowledge of aerospace structures
Desirable - Knowledge of Antenna structures and products
