CNC Machines, Lathes, 5 Axis, HAAS~

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Run various CNC/manual machines including lathes, mills.
* Use various hand tools, grinders, saws, and other machines to prepare parts
* Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions.
* Reproduce parts by measuring, sketching, drawing, and selecting appropriate processes and materials.
* Sets-up machines, select proper tooling and adjust speeds and feeds as required.
* Inspect and verify parts by using precision gages including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and bores gages.
* Document inspection results on appropriate paperwork and insure parts meet tolerance and specifications.
* Work with production, engineering, and quality to resolve issues
* Maintain equipment and perform required PM's to insure proper operation
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following procedures and wearing appropriate PPE.
* Work in a productive and efficient manner and provide ideas for improvement
* Continuously improve job knowledge by participating in educational classes; reading technical publications, and cross-training.
* CNC machinists must be able to create and run programs on HAAS lathes and machining centers up to 5 axis.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years preferred
* Ability to work in fast paced R&D environment.
* Formal Journeyman, Apprentice, training, or schooling preferred
* Able to work independently with minimal training or supervision
* Machining experience including manual and CNC lathes, mills (HAAS preferred)
* CAD/CAM experience (Gibbscam preferred)
* Experience with model based machining and waterjet machine a plus
