Our customer is a world leading manufacturer of composite & mentally components for the Aerospace industry.
They are seeking to appoint a Quality Engineer to be based at their operation just off the South Cost of the UK.
Working as part o the busy quality department this is a hands on quality compliance engineering role required to support the business operational requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the business bidding process.
Ensuring compliance to the company, customer and regulatory authority requirements.
Reporting on any issues that may have an impact on approvals and product integrity.
Supporting the Quality Assurance activities, both internally and externally, through various means (including Systems, Product and Special Process audits where applicable).
Supporting the implementation of corrective and preventative actions and the development of a continual improvement approach.
The successful candidates will already be operating as Quality Engineers within an aerospace manufacturing environment and be fully conversant with the quality systems processes and regulatory requirements.
You will have an Engineering degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering with additional professional development in QA ideally within the aerospace sector. Applicants should have expertise quality systems assurance ideally in Aerospace Engineering as well as being a Lead Auditor and have previously held delegated engineering/quality approvals/checker/approver and MRB.
With a proven track record of acting as the quality interface with customers, ideally you will also have experience of working with engineering outsource/offload providers and stress and design teams.
You will also clearly demonstrate extensive leadership experience across multi disciplined Engineers teams and as part of an engineering leadership team.
