Job Description

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Manufacturing Development Engineer to join one of our aerospace clients based in Hampshire. The salary on offer for this position is £35k.


The successful Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
The development of new and existing Aerospace production processes within both the Composite manufacture and assembly areas.
Developing the possible usage of new materials and processes within a wide range of applications.
Investigation and implementation of corrective actions using problem root cause analysis techniques.
Providing technical support to both internal and external customers.
Providing support to other Manufacturing Engineering disciplines as and when needed.

Skills / Expeirence
Have the ability to lay-up and bag complex composite components.
Able to assist with the assembly of composite structures
Apply the Lean tools to problem solving
Report writing
Experience of quality management systems.
Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers.
Effective team worker, equally able to work on their own.
Good presentation skills.
Highly self-motivated / self starter / resilient.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Willing to develop their capabilities in line with advancements within our field.
Ideally you will have an ONC/HNC or relevant Degree
Highly PC literate - MS Office, MS Project an advantage.
