Manufacturing Project Lead

Broughton - £30 p/h - 11 months +



We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work for our client in the Aerospace industry; working out of Broughton you will be responsible for delivering continuous improvement support with the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems, controlling the management of shop floor processes, data delivery and collection with KPI's. Suitable candidates will have extensive experience within a shop floor environment, with NC Programming being desirable. Knowledge of conceptual planning and how design data is transferred to production machinery is essential.



Tasks:

- Locally organize and lead UK representation in transnational workshops and meetings around the Upstream Processes workstream / project.

- Ensure follow-up of the actions.

- Monitor with adequate frequency the status on: Activities, Milestones, Interdependencies and Critical Path. Work Progress. Resources Availability. Actions Status. Risks / Cost Status.



Main Responsibilities within the organisational area:

- Support or Lead upon request, Manufacturing Engineering project at Company level in respect to Time, Cost and Quality.

- Establish for the project all relevant deliverables as: Project Description, Business Case, Roadmap / Project Plan, Resources Plan, Travel Forecast, Risk Register.

- Organization Set-up (e.g. Organization Plan included Roles & Responsibilities, set to Responsible, Accountable, Supportive, to be Consulted and Informed Ways of Working).
