Flight Line Maintenance, Structural Maintenance, Aircraft Systems~
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes assigned aircraft tasks as directed by Flight Line Crew Chief or supervisor, including but not limited to open and incomplete planning, one shots, rework, and production test and acceptance test procedures in compliance with written or verbal instructions. Major Tasks and Responsibilities; Follow all documentation required to complete job tasks, such as planning, drawings, processes, standards, technical manuals, schematics, discrepancy reports, alerts, directives, and customer maintenance documents. Operate all ground support equipment required to supply or service aircraft electrically, Hydraulically, pneumatically, and with fuel. Troubleshoot anomalies encountered in aircraft subsystems, mechanically and electrically. Implements corrective actions associated with identified non-conformances. Provide scheduled or unscheduled aircraft maintenance prior to flight or post flight , such as daily or special inspections, adjustments, tabbing, balancing, and pilot discrepancy repairs. Use standard or special tooling required for mechanical, electrical, or airframe installation, removal, rework and repair. Ensure all assemblies and detail parts are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) and non-conformance issues. Check units for compliance using hand held precision measuring Equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges and scales. Report all non-conformances to manufacturing supervision and corrective action representative. Prepare rejection tags noting deviation
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Typical Education and/or Experience
This job requires specialized vocational training, military training or an Associate's degree and 3 to 5 years' work related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidate must be able to answer yes to the following questions:
1) Do you have a minimum of 3 years flight line aircraft maintenance experience including structural maintenance, mechanical / electrical maintenance and aircraft systems operations?
2) Are you willing to work any shift?
3) Are you capable of working in a flightline maintenance environment exposed to the natural elements, hot temperature during summer months and cold temperatures during winter months?
