Composites, NDE, UT, RT, Level II~
RESPONSIBILITIES:
NDE Technician - Composites Level II:
Perform complex nondestructive evaluation and analysis of composite parts and structures to ensure safety, reliability, and adherence to internal specifications. Perform inspections using Ultrasonic (UT) and Radiography (RT) methods. Generate test plans, identify flaws and detrimental conditions, determine root cause, and document results using internal systems. Propose, review, and validate revisions to written procedures and specifications. Support continuous improvement of products and processes by testing and evaluating proposed concepts and technology. Provide nondestructive testing knowledge, technical expertise and performance history to internal and external customers. Work under minimal direction.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Requires NDE technician-Composites. Candidates must be able to provide documentation of all experience hours in each method in advance. Past certification in both methods (UT, RT) is preferred, but strong candidates with UT only will also be considered. Minimum certification level consisted will be Level II. Level IIIs are also encouraged to apply for a Level II position.
WORK HOURS: 6:00 - 2:30
