Job Description

Parc Aviation on behalf of our client Qatar Airways is looking to recruit a Manager Account (Cost Control) for a permanent position.

Based in Doha, Qatar, they have established a key transportation hub for regional and international travel. Their continuously growing global network already includes more than 100 major business and leisure destinations.

Qatar Airways currently operate one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the industry. By 2013, Qatar Airways will have increased their fleet to 110 aircraft.
We invite applications for the following position to be based in Doha, Qatar.

Manager Account (Cost Control)

Manage, direct and organize the performance of both the Cost Control / Engineering Contracts & Insurance Department through the use of incumbents familiar with engineering background. Develop and evaluate cost control indicatives across all aspects of the department. Maximize the value received from all Insurance claims. Provide support to other departments as and when required.

Qualifications:

- B.Sc in Engineering, preferably mechanical or aircraft maintenance.
- Management qualification would be very advantageous.

Minimum Experience:

- A minimum 8 years aviation experience needed with at least 3 years in the Maintenance or Planning Departments.
- Previous experience in Contract evaluation and Cost Control and / or warranties is essential requirement.
- 3 years in management position in airline is pre-requisite.

Job Specific Skills:

- Good knowledge of airline technical activity, manufactures and maintenance organisation.
- Able to provide technical advice preferable with hands on experience.
- Good communication skills
