Job Description

Job Title: Eurofighter Program Leader Ref no: 44305

Location: Gloucester

Salary: excellent + pension, health plan, 25 days holiday, profit share

Reporting to the Program Manager you will be responsible for the management of the Eurofighter program activities and customer requirements.

This is a key and challenging role in the team, making an important contribution to the achievement of business, program and customer objectives.

As Eurofighter Program Leader, you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining and developing the customer and workshare partner relationships.
* Developing plans with the team, the functions and the workshare partners to support the program objectives.
* Tracking spend and progress against these plans and ensuring that the team delivers on-quality, on-time and within budget.
* Promoting teamwork and program management best practices in the team such as planning, progress tracking, reporting and risk management.
* Clear and accurate management and customer reporting.
* Day to day management of the Program Controller and Program Administrator.


You must hold a full driving license and current passport as overseas travel will be necessary, covering both the customer and also the European workshare partners.

Candidates should be qualified at least to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) in an engineering or business discipline and have previous experience of project management. A good knowledge of relevant products and overall business processes is also necessary.

The role would suit an enthusiastic, results-orientated team player who is looking for an opportunity to develop project management experience and expertise within a program environment. The successful candidate must also possess a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
