Experienced Operations Controller required
Flightworx® Aviation Ltd, a Worldwide specialist supplier of Flight Planning AND Trip Support services to Aviation, are looking for an experienced Operations Controller to work in our busy 24/7 Flight Department as part of our continued phased growth plans.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful experienced Controller candidate must have the following experience and qualifications: - UK National who currently resides in the UK and has done so for the past 5 years - Be educated to 'A' Level standard - Have at least 2-5 years flight planning experience and demonstrate they have a knowledge of long range flight planning (NAT Tracks, ETOP's etc.) should be able to decipher computerized flight logs, TAFs, METARs and NOTAMS.
The candidate should have worked as part of a team and under their own initiative in a 24/7 Operations environment. References will be required.
Candidates must have experience of working with the following systems; CFMU, AFTN, SITA and have a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office - Comfortable with liaising, communicating and coordinating colleagues, clients and suppliers on a daily basis - Must have the ability to make sound decisions and work to tight deadlines as well as showing they can multi-task with rapid changing scenarios - A second language would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team on a clear and fair shift based role, working 12 hour patterns during the day and night. This role includes a performance related bonus scheme and private health care (after qualifying period). All applicants must live within one hours' drive of North Essex, UK.
