The Position: We are currently looking to recruit for a variety of positions within the Maintenance Planning department including: Planning Engineers, Planning Officers, Reliability Engineers, Reliability Officers and Aircraft Scheduling Controllers. The successful incumbents will be required to provide efficient and effective support to the maintenance departments based in Dubai, and where necessary the EK Outstations, in accordance with practiced airworthiness standards. 

Salary & Benefits: We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66. Experience and Qualifications:

We welcome applications from candidates having the following:

  • For Planning Engineers - Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with minimum 8 years experience in Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering of which at least 5 years in Maintenance Planning. The candidate should be fully conversant with aircraft systems, power plant and components and should have thorough knowledge of related Aircraft Maintenance and Engineering functions, aircraft regulatory requirements and maintenance documentations. Should be proficient with Computer applications (e.g. MS Office).
  • For Planning Officers - 12 years schooling or equivalent. The candidate should have atleast 10 years of Engineering Development experience and should have worked in aircraft maintenance/records environment. Sound understanding of IPC's and Aircraft Maintenance Schedules. Sound knowledge of computer system. Knowledge and experience of handling Microfiche, Microfilm or CD-ROM for achieving documents will be an advantage. An understanding of aircraft systems, powerplant and components.
  • For Reliability Engineers - Degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering of which at least 2 years in aircraft reliability programs. Be expert in component and dispatch reliability root cause analysis. Be capable of delivering and directing the operational impact and improvement identified by the reliability programmes. Full understanding of aircraft/powerplant systems and components. Should be fully conversant with aircraft regulatory requirements and maintenance documentation. Should be proficient with Computer applications (e.g. MS Office).
  • For Reliability Officers - Diploma in Aeronautical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft reliability programs and Engineering/Planning or related environment. Should be fully conversant with aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules. Understanding of aircraft/powerplant systems and components. Sound knowledge of Computer Applications (e.g. MS Office). Knowledge of EMPACS is an advantage. Familiar with aircraft regulatory requirements and legislation.
  • Aircraft Scheduling Controller - Diploma in Aeronautical/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Operations or related discipline. The candidates should have a minimum of 6 years experience in Aircraft Scheduling/ Maintenance Planning or a related environment. Fully conversant with aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules. Should have good understanding of Aircraft/ Powerplant systems and components. Sound knowledge of Computer Applications (e.g. MS Office). Knowledge of Movement Control Systems (e.g. CORE) and scheduling systems (i.e.Delia / Airflite) is an advantage. Should be familiar with aircraft regulatory requirements and legislation.
