Our client will potentially be looking for experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Engineers to work on contract within their Transmissions department in Yeovil.
The role will be to support the Repair & Overhaul manufacturing planning activity to achieve the inload of major units. The successful candidate will be familiar with repair techniques within the aerospace sector and will ideally have a working knowledge of CAPP as the main planning tool and SAP as the business operating system.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Educated to HNC level or equivalent - desirable
Integrity and professional approach, with credibility at all levels
Engineer background from an Aerospace or high integrity mechanical manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Company Quality systems and Engineering procedures
Computer literacy - CAPP, SAP, PC, CAD/CAM
Teamworker who is customer focused
Experience of transmission assembly and manufacturing techniques
Good communicator with influencing skills
